The City of Chicago’s Invest South/West initiative selected Austin United Alliance to lead the redevelopment of the Laramie State Bank and give new life to a local landmark. After reviewing several exciting proposals and hearing feedback from the Austin community, ours emerged as the most impactful vision for revitalizing Austin’s historic commercial corridor. Our vision features new mixed-income housing and community-appropriate commercial space that will generate economic vibrancy and wealth-building opportunities for local families and entrepreneurs for decades to come.
